Emma Obenberger

Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Emma is a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in psychiatric and behavioral health. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and previously earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and RN licensure from Chamberlain College of Nursing.  She currently works as a nursing director and PMHNP at a local residential treatment center, in addition to educating up-and-coming nurses through remote online teaching.

  • With five years of hands-on experience as a Registered Nurse working with all ages and specialties at inpatient facilities and serving as a House Supervisor, Emma brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to mental health care.

  • Her clinical background spans a diverse range of populations and settings, including geriatric psychiatry, memory care, SMI, detox, adolescent behavioral health, and special needs adolescents and adults.

Emma is deeply committed to advancing mental health care through evidence-based practice, team collaboration, and compassionate leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, a lively English Cocker Spaniel and a loyal Bernadoodle, along with hiking, fitness, and ongoing personal and professional development.
