Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Evaluation Options

We offer two types of ASD evaluations, depending on your needs:

  1. For DDD or ESA Services –
    If you are seeking services through the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) or using Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funding, evaluations are completed by Dr. Robinson.
    • Cost: $3,000

2. For Personal Knowledge (No DDD/ESA Services) –
If you do not plan to apply for state services and only want an evaluation for personal understanding, either Alex or Catherine can complete the assessment.

    • Cost: $500

*At this time we are not able to accept insurance for the above evaluation cost.

*Please note to get started with the option for Alex or Catherine to complete your evaluation you must have a session to establish as a patient and complete an intake to ensure an evaluation is the best fit, and this initial session may be covered by your insurance.

Dr. CJ Robinson, PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

  • With over a decade of experience in providing mental health services and treatment to people of all ages, Dr. Robinson is pleased to have the opportunity to be in private practice and offer high quality mental health care.

  • In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Robinson has a strong background in psychological assessment—including ADHD, ADD, developmental disorders, personality and IQ, and a number of other specific need areas. He would be happy to schedule an initial intake session to meet and discuss your needs. He currently offers evaluations for Autism for children and adults.

Dr. Robinson is a native of Eastern Kentucky and his Appalachian roots and values strongly inform his practice. Described as warm, genuine, and empathic, Dr. Robinson focuses on providing treatment for children as young as four, and adults of any age in a therapeutic atmosphere which focuses on genuinely welcoming the patient and creating a space to discuss issues.

Education and Background:

 

Dr. Robinson completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Pikeville College, in Pikeville Kentucky. He holds dual Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Morehead State University and Fielding Graduate University. Dr. Robinson was awarded his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in 2011.
