You didn’t grow out of it.

Plenty of autistic adults get here late. A few were assessed as children and told they would be fine. Most were never assessed at all. They were called shy, or sensitive, or difficult, or bright but not applying themselves, and they built a life that worked around all of it.

People usually come to us after something shifts. A child gets evaluated and the report reads like a description of their own childhood. A job that was manageable for years stops being manageable. Someone mentions a podcast and it stays with them for a month.

Finding out in adulthood is its own particular thing. It re-reads your history all at once, and some of that arrives as relief while some of it arrives as grief. Both belong. There is no correct order to feel them in, and no deadline.

Most practices that understand autism understand it in children. We don’t stop there.

What we offer adults

  • Autism and ADHD assessment. A full evaluation, not a short screener. Wanting to know for your own sake is reason enough.
  • Therapy that isn’t trying to make you less autistic. Burnout, masking fatigue, sensory load, and the sorting out that follows a late diagnosis.
  • Executive function coaching. Building systems around how your attention actually works, rather than the ones that never quite fit.
  • Workplace accommodations. Working out what would genuinely help, and how to ask for it without sharing more than you want to.
  • Relationships and family. Including sessions with a partner or family member who wants to understand more about how you experience things.

What you can expect from us

  • You can use the form or email instead of calling. You never have to make a phone call to reach us.
  • Tell us what helps. Lower lights, no waiting room, camera off, breaks partway through, a written summary afterwards. None of that is a special request here.
  • We tell you what things cost and how long they take before you commit to anything.
  • Coming in with a self-diagnosis is a perfectly reasonable place to start. You will not be asked to justify why you are asking.
